Lord Of Misrule Bath Bomb

by - 12:59:00 PM

This feisty bomb put on quite the show. A similar size and shape to the traditional LUSH bath bomb, this little guy donned a crown to set himself apart, and he certainly did earn it. The spectacular fizz, color change, and popping candies prove that he the lord of the bath and the life of the party.

Sharing it’s scent with Lord of Misrule Shower Cream, Aliens & Monsters FUN, and The Rough With The Smooth scrub, this sweet, spicy, and earthy bomb is full of fair trade vanilla absolute, black pepper oil and patchouli oil, which makes for a deliciously aromatic bath. I did find that the scent of the bomb does not linger on the skin as much as the shower cream does.

This is one of the more excitingly colorful bombs I’ve tried. It starts out as a pastel green, which soon gives way to a bright raspberry pink. The two colors swirl throughout the tub, and you are eventually left with a deep wine colored bath. I used a lot of water in my tub and I was surprised that the water ended up being as richly colored as it was.

The addition of the popping candies was a festive touch. They started about a minute after I submerged the bomb, and I was disappointed they only lasted for another minute or two. The crackling was comforting, and combined with the warmth of the water, it brought to mind an image of cuddling up by the fireside.

All in all, this was a fun yet relaxing bomb that left me with lightly fragranced and lightly moisturised skin. I can’t wait to repurchase next year!
